Earth Caravan donated 2600€ (3000U$) for a solar panel and battery system for a seven headed family which is living in tents near Al Aqaba, just on the border of a military zone.
Due to the fact that this family didn’t have light in the night, they where exposed to gunfire in the night for many years. After installation of the solar panel system, the family is more safe and also the children have light to study and read after dark.
Many Beduin families in Palestine live in tents without electricity. The reasons for that are that they don’t get planning permissions for houses and if they build houses without permission, the houses get teared off by the military.
Earth Caravan is supporting Solar Panel Systems in Jordan valley.
